Where can I buy furniture cheaply in Japan, but not second hand?

Depending on where you live, you might want to pay a visit to Ikea (you know, that huge famous Swedish furniture store) or the Japanese version of this store Nitori. Nitori can be found in many places, some really big ones and some smaller stores. They sell furniture with comparable prices, but the selection might not be as big as Ikea's. Lastly, it might be a good idea to look for furniture online. You might want to try Amazon or Rakuten.

I've checked for Nitori you mentioned. I think I'm going to check it out. I found a cute coffee table online with nice design and reasonable price.  Thank you for your info!
