I will start teaching in Saitama as an English language teacher from next September. Now that I'm going to start living in Japan the following years, I think it will be useful to have some knowledge of the Japanese language myself. Can anyone recommend me some affordable language classes in the Saitama/ Tokyo area?

I think it might be useful to contact the Tokyo Voluntary Action Center. This organization has teachers that work voluntarily.
