Hello, We are looking for airbnb houses in Tokyo and planning to stay for 2 weeks in September 2018.
We want to rent an apartment / house rather than book a hotel. I am writing, lookign for advice on the most central suburbs or areas to stay, so that we can conveniently travel by subway or train to every major location in Tokyo.
Thank you in advance

Hi Cheryl,
Shibuya is a great place that connects you to everywher you want to go in Tokyo, it isvery fun at night and you can ealsily walk to Harajuku from there.
Shinjuku is usually very popular because it has a giant station that connects you to everywhere you want to go as well. But it is less fun than shibuya at night in my opinion
If you are looking for a very convenient place that isn't so famous, check out Asakusabashi. It is 1 station away from Akihabara, 1 station from Ryogoku and it is a good area at night, with restaurants and izakayas. It is also very near Asakusa.
Asakusa is a very nice area to stay as well, lively at night and with a very Japanese feel on the streets because it is an old neighborhood
