How to get to Gero Onsen from Tokyo

Reserving a seat in advance you take the Nozomi Shinkansen from Tokyo Station. The train will take you to Nagoya, where you will transfer on the JR Tokaido Line New Rapid Train going to Ogaki. You get out at Gifu Station and transfer to your last train to Gero, the Limited Express Hida. When you get off at Gero Station, you cross the Hida river and walk for approximately 7 minutes to Gero Onsen.
The whole trip will cost you 7,880 yen and takes about 3.5 hours.
