Recommendations for our second time in Japan

If you're coming in summer, why not go to Hokkaido? It’s cooler there compared to the rest of Japan. Or if you want to really enjoy summer and the beach, Okinawa is also a great choice.

If you're looking for somewhere you can go by a quick trip on the Shinkansen, try Sendai/Higashi Matsuyama or Kanazawa. But keep in mind that summertime after mid-July will be crowded, especially in mid-August.
