Hey there!
I had the same though when planning my trip because I needed to organize my money and know how much I would spend every day.
It's not so hard to get this information online, here in planetyze you'll find that for the most part. But most temples are actually free.
if you go to Tokyo, I can't remember a temple where I had to pay for antering, but in Kyoto some of the main ones you have to pay. But don't worry, separate around 10.000 yen for temples and you'll probably not need more than that in your trip.
