Travel tips for...
Nikko

Akane

The Nikko All Area Pass is the one that covers the most areas. It also includes a round trip fare from Asakusa station to Shomo-imaichi station, and unlimited use on buses/trains in Nikko. It’s a little less than 5,000 yen, so thinking about the fact that it includes a round trip fare, it isn’t too expensive. If you’re going to the Chuzenji area, this is the one you want.

There’s also the Nikko City Pass, which includes a round trip fare and only the area in central Nikko where the World Heritage Site is. For people who want to spend their time leisurely seein the Heritage site, that’s the one you want. They also have passes that include the theme parks, Nikko Edo Wonderland and Tobu World Square.
