Akane
I'd like to go to Okinawa, but as I am on a budget I'd like to know when the cheapest time of year is to go. I know that summer will probably be really popular so in other words expensive. Is it better to go in spring, fall, or winter? And is it practical to go even though it’ll probably be too cold to go swimming?

Definitely winter. As lots of people go to Okinawa to mainly enjoy the beaches, when it's winter and too chilly to go swimming (about 20 degrees on average), it becomes less crowded and cheaper. But there's still lots to do without going swimming, like going to see the historical sights or going to see the mangroves and going kayaking in the northern part of the island. If you scuba dive, then you’ll still be able to do that even though it’ll be a little chilly.
