We’ll be arriving in Tokyo tomorrow and staying for a week. Are there any events we can go to while we're there? If there are any Japanese festivals that we could go to, I think my family and I would enjoy that.
You can find a list of events on this website. They're mostly flower festivals in May but there are two festivals or “Matsuri” in Japanese that you should definitely go see included in the list. The Sanja Matsuri is one that is very famous and popular so be prepared to be squashed in the crowd.
