I'm thinking about a trip to Kusatsu Onsen in September. It's still really hot in Tokyo, but how is the temperature in Kusatsu? It's further up north so I'm assuming it's cooler but how much cooler will it get?

It’ll probably be around 17 degrees Celsius on average in early September and will go down to around 14 degrees later in the month. It will be colder at night so make sure to bring a warm jacket.
