I heard that the volcanic activity has closed portions of Hakone and I'm wondering if I should come later? We would like to ride the ropeway to the top of the mountain - is that what is closed?

Dear Erin san,
I went to Owakudani this Feb.
They had closed for while last few years because of volcanic activity but now Hakone and Owakudani where the ropeway are okay at this moment.
The ropeway sometimes closed because of gas but this is just temporary close.
I hope you can enjoy the beautiful Volcanic area.
