Hi. I'm planning to end my day of sightseeing near Kiyomizudera. I hear that the street leading up to the temple has shops selling sweets and snacks, so I intend to try some, but after seeing the temple I'd like to have a light dinner somewhere. Any nice restaurants nearby? Thank you.

You can find a list of restaurants near Kiyomizudera on the following website. As you said, there a lot of places to try sweets on Kiyomizuzaka, the street leading up to the temple, so I think you'll become pretty full (I did) and might want to consider having dinner near your hotel instead.
