I'd like to experience a capsule hotel during my stay in Tokyo. I’ve heard they're pretty cool, and something you can only experience in Japan. Are they clean though? I don't want to stay there if they're not very hygienic. I'm not a picky person but I do have my limits. And are they safe for a single female traveler to stay in?

You can find both dingy places and places that look like a really nice hotel, in Tokyo. Here are some of the nice places which have only female floors, so that should make you feel safe. I hear that they're becoming pretty popular.
