My name is Anna, I'm a filmmaker from the Netherlands, working with Javier and a cameraman on a new youtubeseries about Tokyo and its subcultures. From June 11th - 18th we're filming in Tokyo and I was wondering if there are some people here who are/know skateboarders/BMX riders/freerunners. We would love to hang out, talk and shoot some high quality footage of you driving/running and possibly go out somewhere.

Hello Anna,
I'm really happy to see that you're doing this project. There is a wonderful skateboarding community in Japan! I happen to know of a small bar in Tokyo that is run by one of the first professional Japanese skaters in history! A lot of amateur, semi-pro and even some pro-skaters often gather at the bar so it would definitely be a great place to start!
