Hey guys, I am looking for recommendations for a male backpacker in my late 20s. I'd like to stay in a capsule hotel in one of these areas, but I am not sure which one is best.
I’m trying to travel on a budget, but am willing to spend a bit more for a great experience.
I feel like Ginza would be the best bet to see the city easily but I also am interested in some night life as well.
Does anyone have a recommendation?

I would say, don't stay in Ginza.
I stayed in a capsule hotel in Shinkuju once and it was great. Nightlife is amazing and it has a much better "Japanese craze" feel than ginza. Before going back to your capsule hotel you can visit the memory lane (Shinjuku Omoide Yokocho), which is very nice, or visit Kabukicho, Shinjuku Golden Gai.
That is my recommendation.
Shibuya is also.. something else, it is amazing at night.
