My dad and I will be visiting Kagoshima by the end of this summer and want to try a factory tour and some shochu tasting. Are there any Shochu (Japanese liquor) factories in Kagoshima that we can visit?

In Kagoshima you can visit many shochu distilleries. I recommend one of following: The Satsuma Shuzo Brewery Meijigura, the Kirishima Distillery, Kinzangura, the Yakushima Denshogura.
