Hi, we're going to be visiting Kyoto next week and wanted to know if there any Taiko drumming performances we can see. Also, we’d like to experience drumming ourselves so if there are any classes where one time visitors can participate, I'd appreciate the information.

For 1 hour classes you can go to the Taiko Center.

I don't know of any performances just of the Taiko, but the RAN Kyoto provides a Japanese musical performance which includes a Taiko performance.
