My wife and I will be traveling to Japan this fall. We’re planning to go to Osaka and Kyoto first, and then make our way back to Tokyo to sightsee before going back home. We’ll be landing at Narita airport in the morning. How do we get from there to Osaka? I know we need to use the bullet train, but can we get on the bullet train from the airport?

If you're landing at Narita airport, you’ll need to move from there to Tokyo station first. That’s the station you'll be getting on the bullet train from.
There are several ways toget to Tokyo station. The cheapest way is to use the direct bus, which will be about 1,000 yen. The next easiest and a little more expensive way is to use the Narita Express (NEX) train which is about 3,000 yen. The websites for both are below.
From Tokyo station, you need to get on the Tokaido Shinkansen (bullet train) to Shin-Osaka station. From there you’ll probably use the subway to get to whatever part of the city your hotel is in.
