Shibuya (渋谷) is one of the most popular places for the young and here you can feel the energy of young Tokyoites. It is often used for filming locations and the famous crossing and the statue of the faithful dog, Hachi are just in front of Shibuya station.

Shibuya Crossing(渋谷スクランブル交差点)
As all the traffic lights for pedestrians turn blue at once at this scramble crossing, you must be astonished by the crowds of people swarming across it. You can see well from the Starbucks on the 2nd floor of the building just next to the crossing (there a DVD and music shop called Tsutaya on the first floor), or the bridge corridor linking the JR station with Shibuya Mark City complex.

It’s a fashion building which is very popular with young ladies around twenty. You can find the large variety of popular goods including ladies’ clothing, shoes, accessories and so on. It’s also famous as a shopping choice of foreign celebrities.

Shibuya Center-gai(センター街)

National Noh Theater
Noh is a traditional Japanese theater style, it has called one of the world oldest teather styles. Noh has mix of singing, acting, song and musicians. Part of what is well known about Noh are the masks that are wore by those actors that play supernatural beings. Here in Shibuya you are able to go watch a traditional style Noh play, but be sure to check out when there are plays on and how much they cost, the tickets can be quite expensive at times.

Yebisu Garden Place and Museum of Yebisu beer
Almost like a tiny city inside Shibuya with different restaurants and shops among them a 3 Michelin star restaurant in it also a mall. The area being built around the old beer brewery where the Yebisu beer museum is located.
