Amanda
Good afternoon. My name is Amanda. I am a Portuguese and English teacher in Brazil, graduated in Languages and Literature and specialized in English Language Teaching (post graduation). I am married and I have a two-year-old daughter. I would like to know if a Japanese school hires me to work as a teacher and sponsors my visa, is this visa extended to my husband and my daughter (none of us are Japanese descendants)? Thank you.

If you get a working visa, and your husband and children want to come with you, they'll need to get dependant visas. Or if your husband also wants to work, he'll need to get a working visa too. I don't know if companies help people get the dependant visas for family members, so I suppose you'll need to ask the individual school/company that you want to work for.
I hope everything works out for you!

Companies can help their employees get a dependant visa for their families. But they don't have to, some companies will do it for you, others won't. But you can do it by yourself and it is quite simple, you just have to wait a lot for the certificate of eligibility (1~3 months)
