I have booked my bus ticket from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko via highway-buses.jp. I have gotten the e-ticket to my email when i purchase it online. My question is, do I need to collect the hardcopy ticket at the bus station or go directly to board the bus and just show my printed e-ticket.

For that company specifically, I'm not sure, maybe you should contact them and ask. But usually, you don't need to print anything because they will have your name on a list.
You also have the option of bringing your reservation on your smartphone.
But if you are not sure about your ticket, i'd recommend going to a kombini and printing just in case.
