Looking for a mid-range Ryokan in Kyoto. I think I'd be a great experience for my kids. If you think otherwise, please let me know though. I’ve tried searching for one myself, but they all seem pretty expensive so I'm trying to find one to fit my budget.

I agree that it'll probably be a wonderful experience, something you can only experience in Japan. We, as a family, loved it and hope to be able to stay at another Ryokan when going on another trip. Below are three not too expensive ryokans. Hope it helps with your search.
