I want to see Mt. Fuji. Where do I go and how?
I know there are a lot of places that you can see Mt. Fuji from, like Hakone or Kawaguchiko, so I don’t know where the best spot to go see it is. The best spot meaning it’s easy to get to transportation wise too.

Most people go to Hakone or Kawaguchiko.
In my personal opinion, the northern shores of Yamanakako offers a better view of Mt Fuji, although Kawaguchiko also offers a nice view. A bus frequently runs between Kawaguchiko, Saiko, Oshino Hakkai, and Yamanakako. With the JR Pass take the JR Chuo Line Express train (Azusa/Kaiji) from Shinjuku Station to Otsuki Station. Then take the Fujikyu Railway to Fuji Yoshida or Kawaguchiko Station. The Fujikyu railway and bus have to be paid in addition. Find information on the official Fujikyu Bus website. Nothing hard about it.
