I'm really nervous about my upcoming plan to go to Okinawa. It’ll be my first time going to Japan and I don't speak a word of Japanese, so I'm just worried if I’ll be able to get to Okinawa by myself. My boyfriend is stationed there so I'm going to visit him.

Don't worry, it's not hard to get to Okinawa. There are direct flights to Naha airport from either Haneda or Narita airport in Tokyo depending on which airline you’ll be using. Personally I recommend the ones from Haneda airport. When you get to Okinawa, a lot of people don't speak English, so just bring a map of where you want to go and show it to the taxi driver.
