What is name of nearest train station to Towa Pure Hotel & Cottage?
Can I travel around Tochigi by train or bus? I do not intend to drive.

The nearest station Kuroiso Station on the JR Tohoku Honsen line. From there you need to get on the Toya bus to Nasu Highland Park for 1 hour. However, this bus only runs on weekends and holidays. You can call the hotel and arrange for a pick up van which will pick you up at Nasu Shiobara station. This will take about 40 min, and is not limited to weekends.
You can try get around Tochigi using trains, buses, and taxis, but in the rural areas there aren't many buses or trains running frequently so you need to really plan your schedule or else you'll end up spending a lot of time just waiting for the bus or train.
