I’d love to do some shopping during my layover in Japan. I have plenty of time as my flight will be arriving in the early morning and departing in the evening. I’ve heard there's a mall near the airport so I was thinking of going there. Could anyone tell me how to get there?

Near Narita airport there’s Aeon Mall, or there's an outlet mall called Shisui Premium Outlet. Both of them are not hard to get to. But for Shisui Premium Outlet, there’s a direct bus to and from the airport. You can see the website below for the details of the bus.
If you want to go to both, take the bus from the outlet to JR Shisui station (details also on the website) and then take the train to JR Narita station. From there, take a taxi to Aeon Mall. And to get back to the airport, you can either take a taxi to the airport or take a taxi back to JR Narita station and then the train from there to Narita airport.
