How to get from Ito Onsen to Mt. Fuji?

Believe it or not, the fastest way by train is to go back towards Tokyo first before changing directions. You’ll need to take the JR Ito line (regular train or limited express) to Atami station. Then get on the Rapid Service Acty on the JR Tokaido line to Odawara station. Get on the Odakyu line Romance Car to Machida station.Then on to the JR Yokohama line to Hachioji station. From there get on the JR Limited Express Kaiji to Ohtsuki station. And finally from there you can get on the Fujisan Limited Express on the Fujikyuko line to Kawaguchiko or Fujisan station.
